When life gives you lemons, make lemonade

1.Cover to Indonesia :

Few years back I have sent this cover to my friend in Indonesia. 

India post issued these vulnerable birds stamps in the year 2017. There are 3 stamps in the series. Nilgiri Wood Pigeon, Broad Tailed Grass Warbler and Nilgiri Pipat. You can see another stamps depicting " The Poona Horse Regiment of Indian Army" , also published in the year 2017.

My new Passion: Printing my own postcards

For sometimes now, I have got the idea of printing my own postcards. So that I can send them to my friends, all over the world for postcard swaps.Here is an example of "Puri Lighthouse ". I don't remember which year I took the photo, but I love the place surrounding here.

Here's a great postcard of my city Calcutta. I have sent this postcard few years ago to my friend Radek. It was cold in his country , so I thought of sending him some sunshine. You all can see river boat  ⛵ and a spectacular view of sunset on river Ganga (This part of the river Ganga is called River Hooghly).

Puri Lighthouse

My love for lighthouse is getting stronger by the day.Recently I have visited Puri Lighthouse again,which was wonderful! This picture was taken few years ago when I was visiting my neighbouring state ODISHA. It was great , as it was this year. So I thought why dont I make a postcard of it.So I did, and it was a great feeling.I have only made 20 cards, and the first was a gift to my husband.

If you ask me why I love lighthouses so much, I can only say to you that, when it is  dark, it shows light to boats,ships. Just like our life , we need some great friends to show us the light! So cheers to my friends .

UNESCO POSTCARD: ARCHITECTURE

         Brihadeshwara Temple

Today I am going to send a new postcard to my friend. This place is one of the UNESCO world heritage site in India. The temple turned 1000 years old in 2010. The temple is in Tamilnadu of India. This is a part of the great living choose temples.Hopefully I will visit the place in sooner future.

Negril sea beach

     There is a beautiful place called Negril, which is situated in Jamaica, which is among top ten beaches according to some travel magazines. You can see green water and blue sky which makes you want to go to scuba diving and snorkeling here. You can jump at your own risk from these cliffs .You can even see the big notices around here that says no jumping, or jumpo at your own risk, since no lifeguards are present in this place! But that shouldn't stop you from jumping if you know how to swim and be adventures!
